OPERATING THE MONITOR

Run Mode

The monitor has four modes of operation referred to as run, program, extended programming and test modes

Figure 7

shows

the run mode LCD layout and where each piece of information about the process is found During normal operation the

monitor is in run mode

Program and Extended Programming Modes

Programming is accomplished in either the program mode or the extended programming mode To access the program

mode, momentarily press and then release the MENU button (See

Figure 8

) The first programming screen is displayed The

extended programming mode is accessed by pressing and holding the MENU button until the first extended programming

option appears After programming the display with the necessary information, a lock out feature can be turned on to prevent

unauthorized access or changing of the meter’s setup parameters
