Hot Plug RAID Memory
The ProLiant DL740 server supports up to 40 GB of Hot Plug RAID Memory using
industry-standard PC133 SDRAM DIMMs (32GB of addressable memory). The
DIMMs are installed in the five Hot Plug RAID Memory cartridges. The following
sections describe the features and operation of the Hot Plug RAID Memory
cartridges.
Memory Cartridge Overview
The Hot Plug RAID Memory cartridges are located in the right side of the host
module. Each memory cartridge contains up to eight DIMMs.
