When you finish the procedure, the external volumes’ status displays as Checking, then Normal.
If the external storage system cannot be reconnected, the status becomes Blockade.

Reconnecting a single mapped volume

Procedure 7 To reconnect a disconnected volume

1.

In Remote Web Console, click External Storages in the Storage Systems tree.

2.

In the External Storages window, click the storage system where the volume to be reconnected
resides.

3.

In the window for the selected external system, select the desired path group.

4.

In the window for the selected path group, in the Mapped Volumes tab, select the row of the
volume you want to reconnect. Status must be Disconnect.

Open the Reconnect External Volumes window in one of these ways.

In the Mapped Volumes tab, click Reconnect External Volumes.

From the Actions menu, select External Storage > Reconnect External Volumes.

5.

In the Reconnect External Volumes window, check the volume to be reconnected, accept or
enter a new task name, and then click Apply.
