Syntax
hostname (config)# cert request <cert name>
After executing the cert request command, the system prompts you to provide the following
information:
Common Name:
irwin
Organization Name: irwin
Organizational Unit Name:
Locality Name:
State or Province Name:
Country Name [US]:
Email Address:
Key Size (768, 1024, 2048) [1024]:
When you have entered all the information, the system displays a warning, then displays
the new certificate request.
Warning:
Certificate requests should be backed up for
protection
The certificate request was successfully created (text shown
