Setting up the LDAP schema

To set up the LDAP Schema:

1.

Log in to the SKM appliance as a Local administrator with High Access Administrator access control.

2.

Navigate to the LDAP Schema Properties section of the Administrator Configuration page (Device >

Administrators > LDAP Administrator Server).

3.

Click Edit.

4.

Enter the values for your LDAP schema. All fields are required except User List Filter.

5.

Click Save.

Setting up the LDAP failover server

To set up the LDAP Failover Server:

1.

Log in to the SKM appliance as a Local administrator with High Access Administrator access control.

2.

Navigate to the LDAP Failover Server section of the LDAP Administrator Configuration page (Device >

Administrators > LDAP Administrator Server).

3.

Click Edit.

4.

Enter the Failover Hostname or IP Address and Failover Port.

5.

Click Save.

Testing the LDAP failover server connection

To test the LDAP Failover Server Connection:

1.

Log in to the SKM appliance as a Local administrator with High Access Administrator access control.

2.

Navigate to the LDAP Failover Server section of the LDAP Administrator Configuration page (Device >

Administrators > LDAP Administrator Server).

3.

Click LDAP Test.

Password management procedures

Changing your password

To change your administrator account password:

1.

Log in to the Management Console using your administrator account.

2.

Navigate to the Change Your Password section of the Administrator Configuration page (Device

Configuration > Administrators > Password Management).

3.

Enter your current password in the Current Password field.

4.

Enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

5.

Click Change Password.

Configuring password settings for local administrators

To configure password settings for local administrators:

1.

Log in to the Management Console as an administrator with High Access Administrators access

control.
