Mojave Heater and pass thru the firewall. Keep in mind that the heater hose should not bend any tighter

than a 2-1/2” radius so as not to collapse or kink and keep proper flow.
Layout the 2 holes into the firewall for the installation of the grommets. These will need to be drilled at

3.

1-3/8” for the grommet to fit. Always check that both sides of the firewall are free of any obstructions and/or

moving components prior to drilling. After drilling, install the grommets.
Run the hose through the firewall and connect to the heater ports. Keep track of which one is the “Water-In”

4.

and which is the “Water-Out”. Clamp to the heater ports using 2ea of the SAE #12 hose clamps.
If required of this application, splice the “Y” adapters into the inlet and outlet hoses of the radiator. The inlet

(upper hose) “Y” adapter should be installed with the 5/8” port pointed toward the front of the vehicle. The

outlet (lower hose) should also be installed with the 5/8” port pointed toward the front of the vehicle. These

should be clamped in place with the SAE #28 hose clamps.
Install the manual shut-off valve into the “Water-In” line of the heater where it can be easily accessed if

possible.
Secure and tighten all hoses and hose clamps, keeping hoses away from any moving components of the

engine.
Make sure the manual shut-off valve is open by turning it counter-clockwise. Refill the radiator with coolant

8.

to the proper volume of the vehicle. More coolant will be required to fill the heater and additional hose

added to the system. Fill the radiator and let the engine run and cycle the fluid with the cap on. Add more

coolant as necessary. Check the vehicle again once cooled after one fully heated cycle and top-off with

additional coolant as necessary.
