Enabling or Disabling the Event Log
Allied Telesyn recommends setting the switch’s date and time if you
intend to use the Event Log. If you do not set the switch’s date and time,
the switch does not log the entries with the correct date and time. For
instructions, see Setting the System Time on page 59.
To enable or disable the Event Log, do the following:
1. From the Home Page, select Configuration.
The System page is displayed with the General tab selected by
default, as shown in Figure 192 on page 584.
2. From the System page, select the Event Log tab.
The Event Log tab is shown in Figure 223.

3. For Status in Log Settings, click either Disable or Enable.
