Setting up a DTC printer on a Linux system
Make sure that the printer is turned on and connected.
For a network printer get the IP address as described above.
Open your web browser and go to
"http://localhost:631/"
to open the CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) home page and click the "Administration"
tab.
Click the "Add Printer" button to start the add printer process.
