Basics

In the various playback modes
•Sound is muted.
•The previous recording may appear as a mosaic image when playing back.*

When the playback pause mode lasts for 3 minutes*

Your camcorder automatically enters the stop mode. To resume playback, press N.

Note on the slow playback mode (DCR-TRV140 only)
The slow playback can be performed smoothly on your camcorder; however, this
function does not work for an output image from the DV IN/OUT jack.

If slow playback lasts for about 1 minute (CCD-TRV107/TRV408 only)
Your camcorder automatically returns to normal speed.

When you play back a tape recorded in the LP mode (CCD-TRV107/TRV108/
TRV308/TRV408/TRV608 only)
Noise may appear during the playback pause mode, slow playback*

When you play back a tape in reverse (CCD-TRV107/TRV108/TRV308/TRV408/
TRV608 only)
Horizontal noise may appear at the center or top and bottom of the screen. This is not a
malfunction.
