Call transfer
Call transfer
During a conversation, you can transfer the call to
another cordless handset.
• Press
TRANSFER
to transfer the external call to
another cordless handset. You will see ENTER
HANDSET #. After entering the cordless handset
number to which you want to transfer the call, your
cordless handset will display CALL TRANSFERRED.
• To answer the call, press
PHONE
or
SPEAKER.
NOTE: If the transferred call is not answered within 30 seconds, the
external call will be returned to the cordless handset that originated the trans-
fer, and its display will show
TRANSFERRED CALL . If the returned call
is not answered within an additional 30 seconds, the external call will end
automatically.
If the destination cordless handset cannot be found, the cordless handset that
originated the transfer will generate an error tone and continue the external
call automatically.
Before the transferred call is answered, the person at cordless handset that
originated the transfer can press
PHONE or SPEAKER to cancel the
transfer function and continue the external call.
NOTE: This unit does not have an intercom function. Cordless hand-
sets cannot communicate with each other.
