3.2 Shaft Sealing

Pumps of design ICB are exclusively sealed with
single mech. seals with installation dimensions acc. to
EN 12756 (DIN 24960), design "K", form "U".
Two shaft sealing variants are available. On the data
sheet and / or the order confirmation the kind of shaft
sealing is given. An instruction for the mounting and
operation of mech. seals is contained in the particular
"Mounting Instruction of Shaft Sealing".

The mech. seal used in the standard design is
not resistant to mineral oils.

For further details about mech. seals, as well as
the dangers of accidents, connected to them
refer to chapter 6.6 and chapter 7.2.

3.3 Bearing

The shaft is guided by the ball bearings of the motor.
The bearings are grease lubricated for life and,
therefore maintenance-free.
