reached the limit.]

The limit on the number of pages
that can be printed has been
reached.

Contact the administrator of the
machine.

[Total counter by account
reached the limit.]

[Cover Open]
[Cover is open.
Close all covers properly.]

Since a machine door or cover is
open or an option is not installed
correctly, the machine is unable
to make copies.

Make sure that all doors and
covers of this machine and op-
tions are closed securely.

[ADF Initialize Error]
[Open and close ADF cover.]

The ADF cover is not securely
set.

Open the ADF cover, and close it
again.

[Toner is low]
[Prepare new toner bottle.]

The toner is about to run out.

Prepare a spare Toner Bottle for
replacement following the guid-
ance contained in your mainte-
nance agreement.

[Replace toner]
[Replace toner by following the
instruction and close front door.]

Toner is depleted.

Replace the Toner Bottle follow-
ing the guidance contained in
your maintenance agreement.

[Imaging Unit Missing]
[Drum and Developing Unit is
not set.]

The imaging unit is not properly
set.

Contact your service representa-
tive.

[Replace Staples]
[Replace the staple cartridge.]

The staples have run out.

Replace the Staple Cartridge.

[Exceeds the no. of pages being
stapled.]
[Exceeds the number of pages
that can be stapled. Cancel sta-
pling.]

The number of printed pages ex-
ceeds the maximum number of
pages that can be stapled.

Terminate the job.

[Misfeed Detected]

Remove the paper.]

Since a paper jam occurred, the
machine is unable to make cop-
ies.

Clear the jammed paper.

After clearing a paper jam, it is
necessary to reload certain pag-
es of the original that have al-
ready been fed through the ADF.

Load the indicated original pages
into the ADF.

operations were repeated while
printing or transmissions could

Turn the machine off, then on
