In the [Network] - [SMB] - [Send SMB] window, settings can be specified for
the following parameters.
Item Description
[Send] If [Enable] is selected, SMB transmission is enabled.
Choices:[Enable], [Disable]
Default:[Enable]
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
[UTILITY] - [ADMIN. MANAGEMENT] - [NETWORK
SETTING] - [SMB]
[NTLM Setting] Select the version of NTLM Setting.
Choices:[v1], [v2], [v1/v2]
Default:[v1]
[User Authentica-
tion] Select whether or not NTLM user authentication is per-
formed.
Choices: [On], [Off]
Default: [On]
[DFS] To perform SMB transmission in a distributed file sys-
tem (DFS) environment, select [Enable].
Choices: [Enable], [Disable]
Default: [Enable]
[Apply] button Applies the configuration settings in this window.
[Clear] button Resets all configuration settings to previous values.
