BUTTON SEWING

1. Raise the presser foot lever and slide the feed dog adjust-

ment lever to the right in order to lower the feed dog.

1 Feed dog adjustment lever (Slide off the accessory com-

partment to expose the lever.)

4. Once sewing is completed, return the feed dogs to their origi-

nal position, pull on the bobbin thread at the end of the stitches
to pull the upper thread through to the reverse side of the fab-
ric, then tie the thread ends together.

2. Attach button fitting foot “M”, place the button into the presser

foot, and then lower the presser foot.

3. Turn the balance wheel to check that the needle goes into

each of the holes in the button correctly, and then start sew-
ing. To adjust the button sewing stitch width, touch the stitch
width keys “

” or “

” to select the desired width. The

sewing machine will stop automatically when the sewing is
finished.

If extra attachment strength is needed, carry out the button
sewing operation twice.
