Make sure both Show Metadata and the metadata overlay view you just modified are selected

for the Viewer and/or Browser in the Metadata Overlays pop-up menu in the tool strip.

Badges are now visible in the Viewer or Browser depending on what you selected.

You can turn off the display of badge overlays in the Viewer or in the Browser by turning off
the display of metadata. For more information, see

Adjust the photo date and time

You can adjust the date and time a photo was taken at any time. Aperture gives you the option
of adjusting the date and time of a photo’s version or the photo’s version and original.

Change the creation date of a photo or group of photos

Select a photo or group of photos.

Choose Metadata > Adjust Date and Time.

Enter a new date and time in the Adjusted field.

If you want to modify the creation date of the original or originals, select the “Also change

original file(s)” checkbox.

Click the Adjust button.

The creation date and time of the version or versions changes. If you selected the “Also change
original file” checkbox, the date and time adjustment is applied to the original as well.
