(6) Deletion of file data

It is possible to delete a file(s) that are not needed anymore of when the capacity

(Max=64) of the memory is full.

① Select EASY SETUP form the MAIN MENU.

② Select the file wanting to delete by scrolling UP or DOWN at the EASY S

ETUP screen.

③ Press for over 3 sec on the selected file.

④ It will display the file wanting to delete at the DELETE screen. Then press

ENTER to delete the file.

※Once the file is deleted it can not be recovered.

※It will return to the EASY SETUP screen if chosen CANCEL on step ④.

(7) Initialization of the data files

The data from the easy setup will remain unchanged even if the reset function is

taken place at the MAIN MENU.

※Please consult at a near by MEISTER shop about initialization of the

data files.

※Information about the MEISTER shops is listed on our Home Page.

10. 2D and 3D TRACE (2 dimensional and 3 dimensional trace screen)

The X-axis displays the RPM and the Y-axis displays the increase/decrease value of the compensated Airflow.

The cursor that shows the present value will trace in real time in two dimensions.

If throttle voltage is inputted using with the optical communication with the optional R-VIT, it changes the 2D

graph to a 3D graph by adding a Z-axis. As a result, the cursor that shows the present value traces in real time

in three dimensions.

① In the MAIN MENU screen, choose the 2D and 3D TRACE with the UP/DOWN switch, and press the

ENTER switch to confirm. Then the Airflow compensation rate trace screen will be displayed.

② A control channel can be chosen from three, CH1, CH2, and PASS. PASS serves as the normal mode.

③ The compensation rate can be set at a maximum of ±50% in 0.1% unit. The RPM map is based on 16 points

and the points are 10. (It is based on the setting method of TACHO MAP).

[Caution]&[Advice] Use Fig.1 as reference.

Although a compensation rate can be set at a of ±50%, the amount of ±50% increase (decrease) of the fuel is not

necessarily carried out.

Since a sensor signal is rectified and fuel is fluctuated, actual injector size (capacity) does not change.

The compensation rate can be judged at which moment the Airflow voltage

has reach to its MAX output, if the output voltage of the airflow sensor after

compensation is supervised.

Usually, the MAX output voltage of the airflow sensor is about 5V.

Therefore, fuel will not increase even if the compensation rate is raised.
