16. CALIBRATION

This operation is required if the RPM signal is taken from the ECU and the easy setup is not performed.

The calibration of the RPM is performed.

It can be set up on vehicles with 3, 4 or 6-cylinders and 3000RPM calibration..

Basically, on vehicles with 3, 4 or 6-cylinders, it can be set up without starting the

engine.

To setup using the 3000RPM calibration function, start the engine, keep the

engine running at 3000rpm and press the ENTER switch.

※

On some vehicles, perform the 3000RPM calibration operation if the RPM signal is taken from the ignition

signal of the engine’s ECU. The There is a possibility that the RPM signal cannot be taken if the number of

cylinder method is used to calibrate the RPM.

※

Please be sure to check if the RPM is displayed correctly after the calibration operation by revving the

engine and engine number of rotations is displayed normally.

17. REV SIGNAL (Rotation Signal)

Choose the RPM signal from cable or optical communication through the MAIN

MENU screen.

※ If the optical communication is chosen, it cannot be used if the TACHO

(RPM) is not set up to communicate with the R-VIT through the OPTICAL

COMM.

18. AF SENSOR (Sensor Type Setup)

Please choose the corresponding sensor from a total of 18 types at the MAIN

MENU. The types of sensors are, hot wire, karman, flap and pressure (PR1～

PR15).

19. LOCK (Operation Lock

)

設定をＯＮにすると、設定項目や数値の変更ができなくなります。

If a setup is turned ON, changes on the settings become impossible. Although all

operations are permitted if set as OFF, changes ore permitted only at the

displayed screen items.

※ If the setting is turned ON, an icon of key will be displayed at the upper right

corner of the screen.

20. CONTRAST (Contrast Setup)

① To display the CONTRAST MODE, select and enter [CONTRAST] by

scrolling up or down at the MAIN MENU and press ENTER.

② Press Up or Down to adjust the contrast and press ENTER to confirm.

※ 0 is lightest and 100 the darkest.
