IV. Installation method

1. The minus (-) terminal of the battery is disconnected.

※The settings of the AUDIO or NAVIGATION SYSTEM may be lost. We recommend writing a memo.

2. Connection of the R-FIT main harness to the vehicle’s ECU.

Connect the attached main harness to the ECU by using as a reference the attached ECU wiring diagram

to check the vehicle’s engine control unit position and the arrangements of the terminal.

Connect the airflow signal by connecting the attached wire connectors. The white wire is the in INPUT of

the sensor signal and the orange wire is the OUTPUT of the sensor.

※When connecting with the R-VIT, the RPM can be inputted from R-VIT. In this case, please connect only

the power supply, ground and the Airflow signal.

3. Process after the connection.

The wirings and the wire connectors must be insulated with electric tape or with any other insulating

material.

4. The minus (-) terminal of the battery is reconnected.

5. Checks after attachment.

Please check again whether the minus terminal at the battery and the main harness are connected firmly.

Moreover, check whether the harness is not stressed. (Stressful wiring may cause short-circuits).

Orange Wire:Sensor signal Output (Airflow sensor, Pressure sensor)

Brown Wire:RPM signal (Ignition timing signal)

Black Wire:Ground (GND)

● Install this product and its parts firmly at a secured place that would not be of any

interference while driving.

Ignoring this indication would cause an accident.

● Do not install this product at a location where it could get wet and (or) highly

heated.

It would cause an electrocution, fire, breakage and (or) burns to the electronic

components.

● No responsibility is taken on damages to the vehicle or any others caused from

attachment mistakes.

● Be fully careful from short-circuits while performing wiring works.

● Do not install the harness near moving components of the vehicle.

It would damage the F-FIT and (or) the vehicle itself caused by short-circuits.

Red Wire:+12V(IGN)

White Wire:Sensor signal Input (Airflow sensor, Pressure sensor)
