How to Use Manual Command to Move the Actuator

With hydraulic pressure applied, manual control allows you to use the
thumbwheel to extend or retract the actuator.

Note

Manual command will be automatically disabled if the handset is idle for
90 seconds.

1. On the handset, press

(Exclusive Control).

2. If necessary, press

(Reset/Override) to override interlocks.

3. Apply hydraulics.

When possible, use low pressure to move the actuator.

Applying hydraulics can result in sudden actuator motion.

A moving actuator can injure anyone in its path.

Always clear the actuator area before applying hydraulics.

4. Press

(Manual Command).

Note

The thumbwheel only works when the Manual Command (MC) page is
displayed.

5. Use the

(Scroll Down) and

(Enter) keys to select the active mode

(the command signal that you want to use to move the actuator).

6. Use the thumbwheel to position the actuator.

Note

The actuator can be highly responsive to the thumbwheel. Use small
thumbwheel movements when positioning the actuator, especially during
the final fixture positioning.
