WHOLESALE ETHERNET NIDs

All GM4 and XM5 NIDs support MEF E-Access Service

demarcation at the Network to Network Interface (NNI) to

simplify wholesale deployments.

iConverter

HybridNID

®

The iConverter HybridNID (Virtual NID, or vNID) enables the

delivery of Carrier Ethernet 2.0 E-Access services with value-

added revenue from independent SLA verification. With the

iConverter HybridNID installed at the customer premises or cell

tower, both a Service Provider and Wholesale Access Provider

can independently provision, manage and monitor the Carrier

Ethernet service.
This unified demarcation simplifies service maintenance at out-

of-franchise customer locations. The HybridNID is available in

GM3 and GM4 configurations.

SERVICE OAM NIDs

iConverter

GM3

The iConverter GM3 NIDs provide demarcation for Ethernet

services with IEEE 802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731 Service OAM to

ensure proper enforcement and compliance to SLAs.
The GM3 NIDs support Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP),

color-aware rate limiting and Class of Service differentiation

and prioritization. GM3 NIDs are available in 2-Port, 3-Port

standalone units and chassis plug-in modules.

LINK OAM NIDs

iConverter

M2 NIDs

The iConverter M2 Class NIDs provide Ethernet E-Line service

demarcation for services that do not require SLA performance

assurance. These cost-effective NIDs support 802.3ah Link

OAM with fault detection for Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM)

access links. The M2 NIDs provide MEF 9, 14 and 21 certified

Ethernet service demarcation in telecom networks, and

mission-critical managed fiber links in enterprise, government

and utility networks.
M2 Class NIDs are available in 2-Port standalone units and

chassis plug-in modules that support copper-to-fiber and fiber-

to-fiber demarcation for 10/100 and 10/100/1000 services.
