Lubricating the Cutterbar

The lubricant level in the cutterbar CANNOT be checked. If in doubt as to the quantity of lubricant in the cutterbar,
do NOT add lubricant. Drain the cutterbar and refill with new clean lubricant.

Draining the Cutterbar Lubricant

IMPORTANT

Drain the cutterbar when the lubricant is warm. If the lubricant is cold, idle the machine for about 10
minutes prior to draining.

DANGER

Stop engine and remove key from ignition before leaving operator’s seat for any reason. A child or even
a pet could engage an idling machine.

CAUTION

Exercise caution when working around the blades. Blades are sharp and can cause serious injury.
Wear gloves when handling blades.

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up or fall of raised machine: stop engine, remove
key, and engage safety props before going under machine for any reason.

1. Park the machine on level ground, raise header fully.

2. Stop the engine and remove the key.

3. Engage header safety props.

4. Place a block under each end of the header (A).

NOTE:

The block under the left end of the header
should be higher than the right end.

5. Disengage header safety props.

6. Start windrower and lower header onto blocks.

7. Stop the engine and remove the key.
