4. Place a suitable container under drain plug (A).

5. Remove plug (A).

6. Allow sufficient time for lubricant to drain.

7. Disengage header safety props, start engine, and

lower header so that it is level.

Stop engine and

remove key.

8. Remove breather and bushing from filler elbow (B) and

plug (C).

9. Add 13.5 oz.

(400 ml) of Traxon E 75W90 gear

lubricant to gearbox through elbow (B). Lubricant
should slightly run out of port (C) when at the
proper level.

10. Replace plug (C), bushing and breather (B),

and tighten.

11. Properly dispose of used lubricant and clean up any

spilled lubricant.

12. Close driveshield.

Conditioner Drive Belt

The conditioner drive belt is located inside the drive compartment at the left hand side of the header and is tensioned
with a spring tensioner.

The tension is factory set, so should not require adjusting.

Inspecting the Conditioner Drive Belt

Check the belt tension and inspect for damage or wear every 100 hours or annually (preferably before the start of
the cutting season).

DANGER

Stop engine and remove key from ignition before leaving operator’s seat for any reason. A child or even
a pet could engage an idling machine.
