Write Commands
Use the Write Commands to upload parameter changes and
calibration adjustments to a connected instrument.The three
Write Commands are Update, Date/Time Set, and Calibration.
When the User Setup program is first launched, the Write
Command control buttons are blanked out. They become active
when an instrument is connected to the program.
Update
Use Update to upload changes that have been made to
parameters in the GX-2009 Status Area of the Main Window or
in the in the Factory Settings Window. The Factory Settings
Window is accessed using the Detail Settings command button
in Setting Commands. See “Detail Settings” on page 44 for a
description of Detail Settings. When you click Update, any
changes that have been made to a connected instrument’s
parameters will be uploaded to the instrument. The use of
Update at the appropriate time is described in various other
