DeviceNet Information
DeviceNet Module Introduction
The 198-DN and 198-DNG DeviceNet Modules support a variety of option modules that
may be added to the system to satisfy the application requirements.
Product Identification
Product Type
As required by the DeviceNet Specification, the DeviceNet Module will support the
communication adapter profile. The Device type is 12 (0x0C).
Product Code
As required by the DeviceNet Specification, DeviceNet Control Module Cat. No. 198-DN
has a product code of 67 and Cat. No. 198-DNG has a product code of 98.
