Set the Node Address

When setting the node address on the base block, note that each base
block comes with its internal program set for node address 63.

To reset the node address, adjust the switches on the front of the base
block. The two switches are most significant digit (MSD) and least
significant digit (LSD). You can set switches between 00 and 63.

The base block reads the rotary switches only when power is
applied. Switch settings between 64 and 99 cause the base
block to use the last valid node address stored internally

.

You can also set the node address through RSNetWorx for DeviceNet
software or a similar configuration tool.

When you use software configuration for the node address, set the
switches between 64 and 99.

In this
example, the
node address
setting is 11.
