If problems still exist, perform the following:

1. Check all cable connections to ensure there are no loose wires or short

circuits or incorrect connections.

2. Remove power.

3. Connect the communication cable to the problem MicroLYNX only.

4. Set all address switches on the problem MicroLYNX to OFF.

5. Apply power.

6. Set the MicroLYNX to single mode.

Input:

*PARTY=0

Output:

(The MicroLYNX will echo the address to

which it is currently set.)

The MicroLYNX is now in single mode and an address is not required.

The MicroLYNX should send the sign-on message. At this point, the Host
and Party flags have been reset, the address has been reset to ! and no ad-
dress is required to communicate with this controller.

10. Start over with either the hardware method or the software method for

setting the address. The procedures begin on page 25.
