TRANSPORTING

Before transporting the drill, you should always check the
following items:

1. Make sure that drill is securely attached to the draw
bar of the tractor and that the hitch safety chain has been
securely attached.

2. To prevent possible damage in case of hydraulic fail-
ure during transport, always insert your transport lock pin
in the lock position as shown on page 3-1 in Fig. 4.

3. Check to see that the end wheel tires have the proper
inflation as noted on the "Tire Inflation Chart."

4. Comply with all Federal, State and Local Safety Laws
when traveling on public roads.

5. Remember, the drill is wider than the tractor and ex-
treme care must be taken to allow for safe clearance.

6. Make sure the drive lock-out hub {left side} is disen-
gaged before transporting, refer to Fig. 7. This will protect
from excessive wear on the gauge wheel drive system.
