Re-engage clutch handle by pulling the handle out
and replace in the notch. If resistance is felt use cali-
bration crank to turn gearbox input shaft while engag-
ing the clutch, refer to Figure 3-4. This will align the

gear teeth and prevent gear damage. Do not force the
clutch handle into engagement. Make sure that the
handle is engaged in the notch before leaving gear-
boxs, refer to Figure 3-5.

Set the quick change sprocket orientation as indicated
under the Sprockets column in the Seed Rate Chart.

If the Quick change sprockets must be changed per-
form the following steps:

Refer to Figure 3-6:

a.

Remove the lynch pins from the sprockets.

b.

Take the sprocket out of the chains and reverse
their position.

c.

Replace the chains onto the correct sprocket.

d.

Align the holes in the sprockets with the holes in
the shafts and slide sprockets into place.

e.

Replace the lynch pins.

5.

Open the rear access door on the meter. Do not open
the front door, refer to Figure 3-7. Turn the calibration
hand crank a few turns to be sure the meter stars are
full of material.

Wipe all material off the top of meter seal flange, refer
to Figure 3-8.

NOTE: The drill will not meter seed with the clutch
handle disengaged. Leaving the clutch handle disen-
gaged for one box will allow shutting down that meter
while still using the other bin and meter.

NOTE: The Quick change sprocket driving is con-
nected to the gearbox. The Quick change sprocket
driven is connected to the meterbox.
