Speakers
Removing a Speaker
1.
Follow the procedures in
Working on Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the cover of your computer (see
Removing the Computer Cover
).
3.
Press the speaker release tab and slide the speaker up.
4.
Release the speaker from the securing tabs on the chassis.
5.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the INT_SPEAKER connector on the system board and set the speaker aside.
6.
Replace the computer cover.
7.
Turn on power to the computer.
Installing a Speaker
1.
Follow the procedures in

2.
Remove the cover of your computer (see
Removing the Computer Cover
).
3.
Connect the speaker cable to the INT_SPEAKER connector on the system board.
4.
Insert the speaker into the chassis of the computer.

To prevent static damage to components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from your body before you touch any of
