Removing a Blower or Fan Assembly
1.
Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

Lift the blower or fan assembly out of the chassis carefully, making sure that the connector disconnects from the system board. See

CAUTION:
Before you perform this procedure, you must turn off the system and disconnect it from the power source.
CAUTION:

against electrostatic discharge.
NOTICE:
When you turn off the system, press the power button for less than 2 seconds. If you press the power button for longer than 3 seconds, the
system will automatically rebuild the RAID arrays the next time the system is turned on. This could impact system performance for several hours.
