2.

Close the display and turn the computer over.

 

3.

Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see

).

5.

Remove the palm rest assembly (see

6.

Remove the system board (see

).


 

7.

Remove the modem (see

).


 

8.

Remove the two M2 x 3-mm screws from the I/O daughter card.

 

9.

Remove the I/O daughter card.

 

Replacing the I/O Daughter Card

Before you begin the following procedure, follow the safety instructions that shipped with your computer.

 

1.

Place the I/O daughter card in the base assembly.

 

2.

Replace the two M2 x 3-mm screws to secure the I/O daughter card to the base assembly.
