Replacing the Memory and Processor Board

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Align the notch in the memory and processor board with the tab in the connector.

 

3.

Slide the memory and processor board firmly into the slot at a 30-degree angle, and press the memory and processor board down until it clicks into
place. If you do not hear the click, remove the memory and processor board and reinstall it.

 

4.

Replace the four screws that secure the memory and processor board to the system board.

6.

Replace the palm rest bracket (see

7.

Replace the memory module (see

8.

Replace the hard drive (see

Connect the speaker cable to the speaker cable connector on the I/O board (see
