Click the SCAN button.

 

4.

Choose your scanning preferences and click Preview Now to see how your preferences affect the picture.

 

5.

Click Scan Now when you are satisfied with the preview image.

 

Scanning From the Operator Panel

 

1.

Load the document(s) face up, with the top edge of the document first into the ADF.

OR

Place a single document face down on the scanner glass.

2.

Press Scroll (<>) to select Scan and press Select (P).

 

3.

Press Scroll (<>) to select P C and press Select (P).

 

4.

Press Scroll (<>) to select an application to which you want to send the scanned image. The default applications are MS Paint, Email, My Documents,
PaperPort, and OCR.

Microsoft Paint: Sends the scanned image to Microsoft Paint.

¡

 

Email: Sends the scanned image to your default e-mail program on the computer. A new message window opens with the image attached.

¡

 

My Documents: Saves the scanned image in the My Documents folder on the computer.

¡

 

PaperPort: Sends the scanned image to PaperPort. PaperPort launches automatically.

¡

 

OCR: Sends the scanned image to an OCR application. The text is extracted from the scanned image and presented in the selected application.

 

5.

Press Select (P).

 

6.

The selected application window opens and the scanned image is imported ready for use.

 

Scanning Using the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) Driver

Your printer also supports the WIA-Dell MFP 1125 Scanner for scanning images. WIA is one of the standard components provided by Microsoft® Windows® 
and works with digital cameras and scanners. Unlike the TWAIN-DELL MFP 1125 Scanner, the WIA-Dell MFP 1125 Scanner enables you to scan an image and
easily manipulate those images without using additional software.
