Removing the Base Cover

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Remove the six screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.

 

4.

Lift the base cover off the computer at an angle as shown in the following illustration.

 

Replacing the Base Cover

Follow the procedures in

2.

Align the four tabs on the base cover with the slots on the computer base and gently snap it into place.

 

3.

Replace the six screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.

 

4.

Replace the battery (see

Replacing the Battery

).
