Selecting the Display Mode
When you connect an external display, you can toggle the display mode
between the LCD on your computer and external displays.

Click the Start'button on the Windows 98 taskbar.
Point to Settings and click Control Panel.
Click Display.
Click the NeoMagic® tab.

Click Display Options.

Display modes
Functions
Monitor
Displays only an external display connected to the
Monitor connector on your computer.
LCD
Displays only the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) on
your computer.
Monitor/LCD
Displays both an external display connected to the
Monitor connector on your computer and the LCD
simultaneously.
