Recording a CD on an
MD
— CD-MD Synchro Recording
You can make a digital recording of a CD on
an MD, marking track numbers in the same
sequence as the original CD. You can also
record a programme of your favourite tracks
(see page 32).

1 Insert a recordable MD.
Insert the MD until the deck pulls it in.
When ^ is lit in the display, another
MD has been inserted already. Press
MD = to eject an MD and then insert a
recordable MD if necessary.

pointing toward
the deck.

shutter slide
rightward.

Press CD = to open the disc tray
and place a CD on the disc tray.
With the label

side up. When
you play a single
CD, place it on
the inner circle
of the tray.
Press CD = to close the disc tray.

Press DISC SKIP / EX-CHANGE to
select the desired CD.

Press CD-MD SYNC.
# REC button is lit red, the MD stands
by for recording, and the CD pauses at
the beginning.

Press MD ►!!.
Recording starts. When the recording is
completed, the CD player and the MD
deck stop automatically.
