Repeat steps 3 through 5 to
complete the entire title.

If you enter an incorrect character, press

or ►► until the character you want

to change flashes, then repeat steps 3
through 5.

To erase a character, press CLEAR while
the character is flashing.

Press ENTER/YES to complete the

labelling procedure.

The disc or the track is labelled. The
titles you labelled appear sequentially.

To cancel labelling

Press ■.

Tip

You can label a track title while playing. The current

track is played repeatedly until the labelling is
completed.

Note

If the MD is record protected, "Cll" and
"Protected" appears in the display alternately and
the MD cannot be recorded on. Press MD = and
remove the MD, slide the record protection tab to
the closed position (see page 34), reinsert the MD
and try again.

To check the titles

To check the disc titles, press SCROLL on the
remote while play is stopped. To check the
track titles, press SCROLL while playing. The
titles scroll across the display. To stop
scrolling, press SCROLL. Press the button
again to resume scrolling.

To erase titles

while the deck is stopped, press MENU /

NO.

Turn the jog dial until "Name?" appears,

then press ENTER/YES.

Turn the jog dial until "Name Erase?"

appears, then press ENTER/YES.
To erase all the titles, select "Name All

Ers?"

Turn the jog dial until the disc or track you

want to erase the title appears, then press
ENTER/YES.

"Complete!!" appears.
