and the music will play wifli the volume

To change the preset timer settings
Start over from step 1.

To check the preset timer settings

1 Press TIMER.

2 Press © SELECT and press or ^

on MULTI CONTROLLER to choose the
mode you want to check.

3 Press ENTER/NEXT.

The preset items appear in the display
sequentially, then the original display
returns.

To change the timer
Select the timer display you desire in step 2
of "To check the preset timer settings".

To cancel the timer

1 Press TIMER.
2 Press © SELECT and press or ^

on MULTI CONTROLLER to choose
"TIMER OFF."

3 Press ENTER/NEXT.

The next time you want to use the timer,
select the timer display you used in step
2 (DAILY 1 or DAILY 2) and press
ENTER/NEXT.

Notes

You cannot set the timer if the timer ON

and OFF times are the same.

• You cannot activate wake-up timer at the

same time.

Connecting Optional
Equipment

For greater enjoyment of your stereo
system, you can connect other components
to the stereo. You can connect:

• a CD player
•a VCR
• headphones
• a turntable
• a super woofer

Connecting a CD player

You can cormect an optional CD player that
can insert up to 100 discs and hear the
sound through the connected speakers.
The optional CD player: CDP-CX153 is
recommended.

Use audio cords and make sure to cormect
the plugs to jack of the same color. Then
press FUNCTION repeatedly to select 100
CD.

To control the optional CD player
with the supplied remote
You can use the supplied remote to operate

the optional CD player. Buttons on the 100
CD section of the suppplied remote can be
used to operate the recommended optional
CD player.
Set the COMMAND MODE selector of the
optional CD player to CD2.
