Cable TV channel assignment
Cable TV systems use letters or numerals to designate channels. This
VCR is designed to correspond with standard cable systems. The chart
below shows the channel numbers on this VCR and the corresponding
cable TV channels. Note that the channel number assignment shown in
the chart may not correspond to the channel number used by your local
cable company. Check with your local cable TV company for more
information on the available channels.

If the picture is not clear
Normally, the Auto Fine Tuning (AFT) function automatically tunes in
channels clearly. If, however, the picture of a channel is not clear, you
may also use the manual tuning function.
Display the TUNER PRESET menu.
For instructions, follow steps 1 and
"Presetting all receivable channels
automatically."
Select the channel you want to
fine-tune by pressing the number
buttons and then ENTER.
Press the CURSOR i f l \ ) buttons to
move the cursor (I) to FINE TUNING.
The fine tuning meter appears.
Press the CURSOR (•^/■^) buttons
to get a clearer picture, then press
EXECUTE.
Note that the AFT setting switches to
OFF.
