To save a recording

To prevent aeeidental erasure, break off the

safety tab as illustrated. To reeord on the
same tape again, eover the tab hole with

adhesive tape.

Tips

• To seleet a programme position, you ean use the programme number buttons on the

remote eommander. For two-digit numbers, for example, press 2 and 3 to seleet

“ST 23.”

• If you eonneet additional equipment to a LIGNE eonneetor orjaek, you ean seleet

the input signal using the CHOIX ENTREE or CHAINE +/- buttons.

• The© AFFICH information appears on the TV sereen indieating information

about the tape, but the information will not be reeorded on the tape.

• If you do not want to wateh TV while reeording, you ean turn off the TV. When

using a deeoder, make sure to leave it on.

Notes

• The© AFFICH information does not appear during still (pause) mode or slow-

motion playbaek.

• If a tape has portions reeorded in both PAL (SECAM, MESECAM) and NTSC

systems, the time eounter reading will not be eorreet. This diserepaney is due to

the differenee between the eounting eyeles of the two video systems.

• You eannot wateh a Canal Plus programme while reeording another Canal Plus

programme.

• When you insert a non-standard eommereially available tape, the remaining time

may not be eorreet.

• The remaining time is intended for rough measurement only.
• About 30 seeonds ai^er the tape begins playbaek, the tape remaining time will be

displayed.
