To cancel a fax in progress, click the

Cancel

button in the Sony IJP-

VI00 Status dialog box (displayed while your fax is proceeding) or

press

Stop

on the Sony IJP-VlOO keypad.

Sending a Fax Directly from
Your Software Program

You don’t need to print a document before faxing it. When you want
to fax a document directly from your software program, use this pro­
cedure.

O

While your software program is open and your document file is

displayed on your computer screen, select

Print

from the

File

menu.

o Select

Sony 1JP-V100 Fax

as the printer and click OK. (Note:

Select this name from where your particular software program stores
your printer list. For example, in Microsoft® Word you can find the
printer list by clicking the Printer button in the Print dialog box.)

o Print

the document. The Send Fax dialog box will be displayed

(illustrated on the facing page).

O Enter the

fax number

in the Fax Number box, or click an entry

from your Phone Book.

Click

Send Fax Now

to begin sending the fax.

To cancel a fax in progress, click the

button in the Sony IJP-

VlOO’s Status dialog box that’s displayed while your fax is proceed­
ing.
