2 Connect the AC adapter.

The batteries are recharged by the camera.
The CHARGING lamp lights and the batteries
are charged. The CHARGING lamp goes out
when the batteries are fully charged — this
takes about eight hours.

• Use only the rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries

supplied, or P-3GAV type rechargeable Ni-Cd
batteries.

• It takes about eight hours to charge the

batteries.

• You can also use the AC adapter as a power

source for the camera.

• The camera power is on when the

BUSY/POWER lamp is on and batteries

cannot be charged. The CHARGING lamp
will light and the batteries will begin to charge
when the power switch is turned off.

• Always remove the Ni-Cd batteries if you will

not be using the camera for a long time.

• To prevent damage to the camera, the

camera is designed so that it does not
charge normal batteries.
