Ejecting CF cards

Open the slot cover and pull
out the eject lever.

Push the eject lever into the

camera.

The card is pushed out of the slot so
you can pull it out of the camera.

Insert the CF card.

Insert the card with the

upwards. Push the card firmly into the
camera until it stops.

Close the
slot cover.

Slide the
slot cover
down to its
original
position.

Notes/Tips

Never eject cards immediately after
pressing the shutter button (when
recording images) or when erasing

(ERASE or ERASE ALL) images. The
card’s formatting Information may be
damaged, rendering the card unusable.

Make sure that the card is inserted in the

correct direction.
Always close the slot cover after inserting or

ejecting cards.

The power is automatically turned off if you

eject a card while the power is on.

If there is no card in the camera when the

power is turned on, CARD lights on the
LCD panel. CARD blinks if a card that
cannot be used is inserted into the camera.

If a card is not ejected properly when the

eject lever is pressed, push the card into the
camera again, then press the eject lever
firmly to eject the card.
Take care when pressing the eject lever to

remove cards since a card may drop out of
the camera when it is ejected.
