Seal over the attachment screws,
if shear block, and across the
horizontal joint for shear block or
screw spline
Water deflectors are used at the ends of all horizontal intermediates to prevent
any accumulated moisture in the glazing pocket from dropping on the top edge
Apply a thin coat of silicone sealant to the end of
the horizontal. Set the HWD1 into the sealant
and allow to cure prior to installing glass.
Seal the horizontal to the vertical at
the inside face of the glazing pocket.
