7.2. OmniClient Computer Base

The computer base is designed around an embedded Mini-ITX motherboard. The computer base
is highly customizable to fit the requirements of its application. Table xxx details the options
available in the OmniClient computer base.

The OmniClient system can be powered by +24VDC (+/-20%) or an AC (115-220VAC, 50-60Hz)
power source.

The OmniClient Computer Base is a fan cooled system. The cooling of the unit is performed by
two system fans, power supply fan and an internal CPU cooler. The air-flow direction through the
computer base is upward from the IO panel to the top of the computer base.

When powering the OmniClient system, make sure that the air intake and
exhaust openings are not obstructed.

All computer base fans are controlled by on-board thermal sensors. It is normal
for the fans to speed up and slow down depending on ambient thermal
conditions and on processor/power loading.
