Menu Item

Description

1. Local IP Address

Set the network address of the 9135. The first octet of the IP
address defines the class, or how the IP address is split
between the network ID and the host ID. See Table 9.

2. Gateway IP Address

Set the address of the network node that connects to another
network.

3. Subnet Mask

Set the mask that determines the network ID portion of the IP
address. Set the network portion bits to 1. For a subnetwork,
set the host portion bits to 1.

4. Aging Time

Set how long a MAC address stays in the forwarding
database

5. Enable Download

Select TFTP and/or FTP for firmware upgrades or disable
downloads.

6. Enable BOOTP Mode

Set the 9135 to broadcast BOOTP requests to the local
network until it receives an IP address form the server or you
press <Esc> at the first screen; when the 9135 has an IP
address, disable BOOTP.

7. Management VLAN Number Set the number of the Virtual LAN (VLAN) that the 9135

belongs to; default is 1.

8. Management VLAN Enabled Yes limits access to only the selected VLAN number;

No allows access from all locations; default is No.

9. Static ARP Table

Set the IP address, MAC address, and port for each
permanently installed manager.

10. Dynamic ARP Table

View the current information about the ports.

11. Main Menu

Return to the Main Menu
