When passwords are set to keep the system secure, log out at the end of each session.

To restore the system defaults, follow this step:

1. From the Main Menu, type

8

, Logout, and press <Enter>.

The 9135 automatically logs out when you select Restart Unit from the Main Menu or if the
management software is inactive for more than 10 minutes.

3.12 Update the Software Through TFTP

To verify the software revision currently stored in the Flash memory and used by the 9135:

1. From the Main Menu, type

4

and press <Enter>. The Reports menu appears.

2. From the Reports Menu, type

1

and press <Enter>. The Description screen appears.

3. Record the version numbers for Software Revision Flash1 and Software Revision Flash2.

4. To check if a newer version of the software is available, access www.canoga.com. Click

Downloads, then scroll to the 9135 file name. The last digits of the filename indicate the version
number; for example, 9135G0330.img indicates firmware version 3.30.

5. If the web site lists a newer version than is available on the 9135, use the TFTP Client on your PC

to download the upgrade file and place it on the 9135. On the 9135, access the IP Settings screen,
select

5

, Enable Download, then select TFPT and FTP.

6. Start the TFTP Client to begin the upgrade, then enter data for the download:

Local: location where upgrade software is stored

Remote: the 9135; the remote file will be bsw_img

Host: the IP address for the 9135

If the TFTP client defaults to GET, change the operation mode to PUT.

Note: These are general steps for the TFTP utility. For details, see the documentation for your

TFTP Client.
