4. Password Enable Select yes or no
5. Password Enter a password for SLIP mode, up to 15 characters
6. SLIP IP Address Enter the IP address for SLIP mode
7. SLIP Subnet Mask Enter the Subnet Mask for SLIP mode
8. SLIP Port Setup Opens the SLIP Port Setting menu; set values for these parameters:
Baud Rate; default is 9600
Parity; default is None (N)
Stop Bits; default is 1
Flow Control; default is None (N)

3.4.4 Passwords
The 9135 provides three levels of password protection:
• Supervisor: highest level, controls all menu functions
• Manager: middle level, has some write access
• User: lowest level, mostly read-only, can reset some counters
To set a password, see Figure 12 and follow these steps:
1. From the System menu, type

2. At the Passwords menu, type the number for a user level and press <Enter>.
