Set the TC/UB/COUNTER selector switch to TC or UB.

•When the switch is set to TC, the time code data will be set.
•When the switch is set to UB, the user bit data will be set.
Set the data.
Press the SHIFT button.

If the RESET button is pressed at this stage, the data is cleared to
zero and the setting mode is released.
