Receiving faxes using an extension teiephone
When you connect an extension teiephone on the same line, you can receive fax documents using the
extension teiephone.
You do not have to go to the unit and press (START/C^PY/SET].
Important:
• Use a touch tone telephone as the extension telephone and enter the fax activation code firmly.

When the extension teiephone rings, lift the
handset of the extension telephone.
When:
— document reception is required,
—a fax calling tone (slow beep) is heard, or
—no sound is heard,
press (3 ® (pre-selected fax activation code)
firmly.
Hang up the handset.
©The unit will start reception.
Note;
• You can change the fax activation code (see the next
page).
